FOR BEEF AND DAIRY
CATTLE...The WIK system is constructed with heavy applicator rings
to give vigorous treatment. The WIK stand (shown here with one
applicator) can hold up to three applicators for larger herds.
Each applicator is six
feet long and the interior of the roll consists of alternate layers
of cotton felt and burlap encases in durable dacron. This is
enclosed by four chains that run lengthwise and are held in position
by specially designed rings that encircle the fabric roll.
Insecticide is fed to the fabric roll at the top from a tank and is
applied to cattle when they rub on chains and rings. The insecticide
is fed to the roll by a wick so there are no valves, pumps or
orifices used. The top spring absorbs shock of rubbing and prevents
damage to the rolls and stand.
Add a Face Fly Fighter
with mineral feeder and your system is complete! The add-on has
three basic parts … the top is a tank that will supply insecticide
for up to three months and the heavy, but flexible curtain (shown at
right) is suspended from the tank. The absorbent fabric roll is
attached to the bottom of this which is a wick fed by the tank above
it. The found mineral feeder lures cattle to the applicator below
the adjustable curtain.
The dairy version
features the same rugged construction used in the beef animal
applicator but with rings that give gentler application.
FOR
CALVES...
Creep-O-Matic applicator
(shown at right) easily attaches
